Recently, Infant Crisis Services partnered with Text4Baby, a valuable new resource aimed at arming expectant and new mothers with the information needed to have a healthy baby.
The service is 100% free. Once you sign up, they'll send you three text messages a week throughout your pregnancy and the baby's first year of life. You do not have to pay standard text messaging rates, Again, the service is free and paid for in advance by their sponsoring partner Johnson & Johnson.
To sign up, you simply text the word BABY (or BEBE for Spanish) to 511411. They'll ask you a couple questions regarding your due date or your baby's age. It's simple and easy!
The messages address topics such as labor signs and symptoms, prenatal care, developmental milestones, immunizations, nutrition, birth defect prevention and safety.
If you still unsure about the service, please watch the public service announcement with Governor Mary Fallin below.
