From OKC to NYC
We wanted to share a few more pictures from the Classic Woman Awards banquet in New York City. About 250 people attended the event to honor five amazing ladies making a difference in their respective communities. Our own Miki Farris and the four other 'classic women' will appear in the October issue of Traditional Home magazine. It hits stands Tuesday, so be sure to pick up a copy!
We also thought we'd share a little back story. When Miki received notice that she had been nominated and ultimately selected for the award, she kept it to herself. She quietly went to the photo shoot without telling her staff anything about her upcoming appearance in the popular magazine. Those who know Miki personally know that she doesn't like the spotlight, but given the chance she will gladly shine a light on Infant Crisis Services and its mission. It truly is a deeply seeded passion! It is her humble character coupled with her endless passion for helping the least and littlest that makes Miki a true Classic Woman, not only in our eyes, but in the eyes of many across America. Congrats again!
